Reed and Madden work side-by-side on every sculpture from beginning to end. People ask them how they stay married working every day together. Their answer: "Our partnership works because we have the exact same aesthetic and goals. We look for layered stories and meaning in refined simple shapes that support community identity. It's very rewarding." "If we didn't work together, we wouldn't have a marriage," says Madden. "With the number of hours we work, there wouldn't be enough time left over to be together. We joke that we've been married over a hundred dog-years." Clearly, they are doing what they love, together.
