Reed + Madden win two top honors from the San Francisco American Institute of Architects in both urban and green design for their "Sunflowers" sculptural streetscape.
Sunflowers became the poster child for turning a few parking places into vibrant parklets for people to gather. Fifteen years later, there are dozens of these parklets around the Bay Area and elsewhere.
